Running Firefox 2.0.0.14 on WinXP SP2.

Going to the main phpBB page (http://www.alh.net/newlisp/phpbb/index.php">http://www.alh.net/newlisp/phpbb/index.php) Firefox downloads the index.php file instead of seeing the generated html. I tried this in Firefox 'Safe Mode' with the same result.

Internet Explorer 6 displays the board properly, as does Firefox 2.0.0.14 on Mac OS X 10.5.2.

Is anyone else having this problem? (although if you are, you may never see this post ^^)

--Edit--

I cleared the history and cache and cookies and everything and now the board loads correctly. How odd?

yes i had this under linux too, thats since last week..

I had to clear all cache and restart firefox, then click <discussion>

from the newlisp.org website and NOT from the bookmark i had.

Its irritating.. But then again Firefox is starting to irritate me too,

that browser became a heavy weight over the last 8 years..brrrrrrr..

Also happened with my K-Meleon browser...

(A lightweight, user customizable, Windows GUI version that is based on Firefox/Mozilla/Gecko code).

Doing a Ctrl F5 forced page reload (over several days) did not help either.

A day or so after this I tried the Opera browser with no problems...

So I cleared both cookies and the cache on K-Meleon and it now works!

But the server should never send index.php!!! Unless PHP was disabled during an upgrade or re-install...

Is this a security concern? And was the board hacked? And why did the index.php file jam up these Mozilla based browsers?

This happened to me three times last week. I run Safari on MacOS X - don't really like FireFox. The problem didn't last long, though.
