John McCarthy (the father of the Lisp Language)

died in Boston on January 04th 2003.



His language will live on forever .........

I am happy to say, that the french report was wrong,

and Rumors of his death have been rebuted.

John McCarthy of LISP fame has been reported as

being alive and kicking as of 1/14/03.



I guess the value of old LISP code will remain stable for a while longer :)
