Any news on that RSS feed? I miss not having new topics appearing in my newsreader... Also those email notifications...

Another thing I noticed - sometimes I'm asked to log in even though I'm listed in the Who is online/Registered users bit already. I wonder if I might be having cookie problems in the current version of Safari...?

Anyway, back to your scheduled broadcasts... :)

I've been goofing off for the past couple of weeks on an island in the Caribbean with intermittent power and nearly no internet, and hope that I can use the transition back to the real world as a good excuse for not accomplishing anything much during the next two. ;-)

Sorry to hear that :)

I think an RSS feed and email notifications would be an excellent way to wean yourself gradually back into productive work... ! :)

Is it just me, or does the View Active Topics link not do anything these days? Or is there a definition of 'active' that excludes my posts to the forum...? (I would be sympathetic to such a filter :))

There! How's that?

phpBB's definition of 'Active Topics' is http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=1904385&p=11519245&hilit=view+active+topics#p11519245">here.

Cool, thanks!

It makes sense that it shows topics that have had new posts in the last x days. That's the most useful setting...

From the bug report dept:

I noticed that in topic reply notification emails, sometimes the link to the thread is http://newlispfanclub.ryon.webfactional.com">http://newlispfanclub.ryon.webfactional.com instead of http://newlispfanclub.alh.net">http://newlispfanclub.alh.net, but not always.

Also, for some reason when clicking on that link it doesn't show me the topic immediately but instead presents me with the login screen.

Edit: I should add that it seems like the two problems are really one, as when the link is to http://newlispfanclub.ryon.webfactional.com">http://newlispfanclub.ryon.webfactional.com the login prompt appears, probably simply a cookie issue caused by the name change, although I still don't see why I must login to view the thread.
Get your Objective newLISP groove on.

http://newlispfanclub.ryon.webfactional.com">http://newlispfanclub.ryon.webfactional.com is the hosted site, and http://newlispfanclub.alh.net">http://newlispfanclub.alh.net is the domain name. They both point to the same page, which is the photo of the newLISPies. The logon should only appear if you are at the /forum, or deeper.

I'll clean the temporary webfactional.com references from the nooks and crannies, as soon as I find them.
