This version fixes bugs and improves speed and memory efficiency for various functions. It also introduces a new, better way to encode UTF-8 characters in strings.

This is the first release for which on Mac OS X, Leopard v.10.5 is a minimum. This release will not run on Mac OS X Tiger 10.4, but can still be compiled for this version of OS X.

The apt repository for Ubuntu and Debian is now updated for 10.3.2.  I am submitting an update to the OpenBSD port team too.

Lutz, are you interested in a new module for parsing command line arguments according to the POSIX and GNU standards?

Personally I don't have a need for such a module, but perhaps other newLISP users would appreciate it. Why don't you publish it here and let people comment on it?
