I am happy about the change. I couldn't reach newlisp.org from time to time in the past. I wish you more luck with the current provider!

We are recovering from an unannounced, botched power maintenance performed by the owners of the building where our equipment is located.

nearlyfreespeech.net is a budget web host with an interesting business plan. See https://www.nearlyfreespeech.net/">https://www.nearlyfreespeech.net/ for information on their "actual usage" payment schedule. They are losing money while they are down, unlike 99% of the other web hosts which do not have this incentive to provide reliable service.

I'm happy with nearlyfreespeech - luckily my site is not popular enough to cost me any money... :)

One thing to be wary of  - they run newlisp 9.2 (they're usually a release behind) so you have to resist the temptation of using new goodies in the latest release.

nfshost is a pretty reliable host.  Also, they will update newLISP on request once the bsd package is updated for it.
