Title: Computer Language Shootout Benchmarks
Post by: Isaac Gouy on July 31, 2005, 10:07:27 AM
Note that since January/2005 I have stopped updating benchmarks. Too much changes are occurring on the Debian shootout site and too quick to keep up. Old benchmarks are abandoned and new once are specified.

Actually the old abandoned benchmarks are still shown, you just need to know where to look

//http://shootout.alioth.debian.org/old/benchmark.php?test=all&lang=newlisp&sort=fullcpu

The new benchmarks have settled down, these are stable

binary-trees

harmonic

k-nucleotide

mandelbrot

n-body

nsieve-bits

pidigits

reverse-complement

spectral-norm

threads

threads-flow

Perhaps sometime in the future I will continue this. I believe the old benchmarks currently shown here: http://newlisp.org/benchmarks/ are enough to paint a picture about newLISP's performance and code comparison with the two most popular scripting languages.
