Title: GCC also for Palm OS
Post by: HPW on August 25, 2004, 12:12:45 PM
After the success with the GCC-pocket port, I struggeled

over a GCC-compiler for Palm-OS:

Maybe it would be possible also to port to this platform.

Do not know which platform is more popular and has the

bigger marketshare. (For now I think to use WINCE)

There are also different palm-simulators here:

Sort of TK for Palm here:

are palmOS applications limited to 64ko RAM or not ?

seems to me 64ko is a severe limitation.

That limitiation is long gone. The last time I checked, severeal years ago, this limitation was only for any single memory object in the Palm OS database. That is no limitation in newLISP at all, nor is it for most other porgramming languages I know.
