Post by: scottmaccal on August 05, 2009, 04:43:11 AM
Hi all,

I created a newLISP IRC channel @ irc.freenode.net. More information about freenode can be found here: http://freenode.net/.

Please feel free to stop by to talk newLISP!

Hi! Is this the old #newlisp irc channel? I used to hang out there. Might catch you there now and then, but the time zones aren't always right... :)

One may easily connect to IRC from a browser. There's Firefox' Chatzilla extension for instance. There's also the Opera browser which has a built-in IRC client (among other interesting things).

You could also get a little wild with my favorite (//http) editor, jEdit (//http) combined with the IRC (//http) plugin, so you can meta while you code :D

no it's still there, but nobody visits  these days. Eventually, everyone gets tired of talking to CHANSERV... :)
