I am happy about the change. I couldn't reach newlisp.org from time to time in the past. I wish you more luck with the current provider!

nearlyfreespeech.net is a budget web host with an interesting business plan. See https://www.nearlyfreespeech.net/ for information on their "actual usage" payment schedule. They are losing money while they are down, unlike 99% of the other web hosts which do not have this incentive to provide reliable service.

I'm happy with nearlyfreespeech - luckily my site is not popular enough to cost me any money... :)



One thing to be wary of  - they run newlisp 9.2 (they're usually a release behind) so you have to resist the temptation of using new goodies in the latest release.

nfshost is a pretty reliable host.  Also, they will update newLISP on request once the bsd package is updated for it.
