Title: Conflict: JRUN4/CFMX vs. executing newLisp from TextWrangler
Post by: tburton on July 09, 2006, 11:13:04 AM
I'm using MacOSX 10.4 and if I happen to start JRUN4 and an associated Cold Fusion application (CFMXv7) and then try to execute a newLisp script within TextWrangler, the latter fails.  The latter functionality returns after logging out and logging in again.

Anybody have ideas here?  cheers this beautiful Sunday. ~tim

I have no idea, not having heard of JRUn or Cold Fusion, but the first thing I'd try is to run the  scripts from the command line. If they work, then the problem is something to do with the TextWrangler environment.

Perhaps some error messages have appeared in the Console?

Yes, code still runs from the command line, which is why I suspected TextWrangler, and which means I can probably call and execute newLisp code from within CFML (Cold Fusion Markup Language)...will start experimenting with that soon....

The next step would be to email support@barebones.com, telling them that the problem occurs only inside TextWrangler!
