Title: Ruby on Rails - Lisp on Lines?
Post by: cormullion on April 08, 2006, 09:29:42 AM
I read an article about Ruby on Rails and wondered whether this sort of thing has been done in newLISP already, or whether it would be possible/or a good idea?

I suspect that most of the bits and pieces are already available - just that they haven't been put together in a predefined package so that people can set their parameters and get designing. The writer said that RubyonRails had introduced a lot of people to the language for the first time. Would newLISP be good for this?

Yes its a nice idea..actualy lots of languages are copying the RubyOnRails idea...

Extending the Newlisp Web-IDE/editor with some ajax ;-) ..I dont like javascript but i know Lutz does love it ;-) Perhpas Lutz has some sparetime left for a RoadMov(i)e of newlisp ;-)

..starting a project on this would get things moving...? ;-)
