I can hardly believe what i am reading here , an integrated gui is absolut thrilling ... and now  i'm feeling a bit like waiting for christmas  ;-)

I think this could be a real advantage against a lot of other languages.

I am just hacking a bit around some RGB-Functions to choose colors etc. in newLISP . Maybe i better wait and  i should better  start  programming my  application.

Of course I am very curious as well!

Sounds similar to GTK-server  ;-)

If I may ask, which backend are you using anyway?

The new TclDev kit (the old TclPro) has some very nice options where

also execultables could be made...

I guess Lutz Bought some activeState software ;-)

PS: If it is TclTK based, Ill be porting some old, but nice, TK stuff to newlisp ;-)

This is definatly not a TclDevKit.

Also TclDevKit is not free.

Well if Lutz was using TclDevKit he would get an "Semi" executable

(bytecode) which can be executed when TclTk is installed on your system..

The License for TclDevKit could provide free distribution of executables ,

but i did not read that..too much ;-)

If Lutz is using GTK then the executable he has is nothing more then

an "interface" between Library calls and newlisp actions..

If Lutz is Using OpenGL then im very currious what he's using inside

the executable....

If Lutz is creating an "interface" between FTLK and newlisp i would be very happy ;-)

Other GUI/Widget Toolkit options are there but the library sizes are increasing... so its one of the above... I think.. else Ill be very supprised.. ;-)
