Good to hear, Lutz!

Over the weekend we started getting a flood of new spammer accounts, about one every 20 minutes. It was clearly time to upgrade the software. But the new software was not totally compatible with what we had been using, hence the new look.

If any legitimate new accounts were deleted during the last couple of days, please try again. Sorry! Registrations are running, and we now ask qualifying questions which should stop any future misuse of this board. If you like the new style, we'll keep it. If not, let me know and we'll work on it some more.

I like how tight and fast everything feels on the new site. Super thanks Ryon!

One concern is that nL newbies, like myself, will not be able to log in.

If it asks a newLISP programming question and I were just a person wanting to join the community and ask a couple newbie questions, I think I would be out of luck, and out of newLISP. Not talking about the registration form, rather the login form. Luckily, I refreshed the login page a few times and found a simple set volume to 11 programming request and I know just only about that much and got in. :0)

Am concerned about the ease of induction for future newLISPers having to use the nL captchas. Just wanted to ask if that is a concern for the community.

joejoe is right, some people might have no clue about Newlisp, just want to ask, for instance, how Newlisp compares with, say, XLisp - before they start using it ...

You both make a good point. I'll try to fix it.

joejoe, do you say that the test comes up when you log on? It's only supposed to be for new registrations. Let me know if this needs to be changed.

I like the new nL Fan Club Forum login questions. :0)

Of course, I'm a die-hard GPL fan, so I got in easy. :D

Keep up the great work Ryon. We all appreciate your space.
